Who we are
cvklar is run by Uneven Bits ApS, CVR 30487842, Denmark. Write to us at [email protected].
What we store
Your email, name and password (hashed). Your CV, both the file you upload and the structured version. The job ads you paste, and the CVs and applications we make for them. Your notes on what you sent where.
What we use it for
To make your applications and show you your history. Your CV and the ad are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write the CV and application; the provider does not keep your data for training. We don't use your data for marketing and don't sell it.
Where it lives
On servers in the EU. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Deletion
You can delete your CV, single applications or your whole account from the app. Then it's gone from us. Backups are deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and data portability under the GDPR. Write to [email protected]. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
Cookies and chat
The app sets one necessary cookie that keeps you signed in. Everything else we ask about first: the cookie banner (Consentaur, run by Uneven Bits itself) keeps your choice in a cookie for 365 days and a copy in your browser, and records a random consent ID, your choice per category, the time, the consent version, your browser language and device type. Not your IP address. You can change your choice under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. The chat in the bottom right corner (Asktopus, also run by Uneven Bits) only appears once you have answered the banner. What you write in it is stored with us, so we can reply and improve the answers. Don't paste your CV into the chat; it belongs in the app.
